1. what modem/gateway is the router connected to? 

2. have you went into the router and sent the printer with a reserved IP address?

Thanks for your reply. I have an Arris TM822R DOCSIS® 3.0 Telephony Modem connected to the router. Thanks for your suggestion. I presume that, by a reserved IP address, you are referring to a static IP address. I will allocate a static IP address in the router for the printer.
