amber upstream light on solid
anyone find a fix for this? seems to happen alot comcast guy coming this weekend unit has current update from comcast. Firmware V3.01.12 seem to have same problem as most others only 1 channel loc...

I have no amplifiers, or attentuators, only have 1 splitter
With 2 outs, 1 side to the TV and 1 side to cable modem.
replaced spltter last night, no change.
Still have light and it just drops off line when it wants but shows to be connected.

did you have the cable guy check the line?

1 was at the outside cable junction box.
Seems to have corrected things for know.

sounds like it must have been an issue with one of the splitters/connections.

but oh i spoke to soon! not fixed!
10pm saturaday night internet died, i have tv but no internet.
bought new modem wifi router netgear 7000v2.
so monday the techs come back out install some filter at the connections box outside then spend an hour talking to there tech support.
speed better than it has ever beeen for now. 125+ up & 12+ down.
still have only 5 of the 8 upstream channels.
have all 24 downstream channels.
of course the comcast guys blame netgear.
is there a way to solve this or is it a problem at all?
