Best Router for Fidium fiber
i have 2gb fiber in the home from fidium. of course their equipment only allows 1gb. To get 2gb speed I was told I need to buy a new router. I called fidium and they recommended a modem that ended...
Based on Fidium's FAQ, the fiber service needs a modem and a router, or a combinded gateway.
NETGEAR routers are only the router part, and you still need modem that is capable of operating 2Gbps speed. Usually the cable modem or gateway equipment is provided by the service provider and you cannot buy it from the retail marekt.
