Bridge mode on modem

When putting my modem from ISP in bridge mode my orbi does not connect to internet anymore therefor have no internet to my devices. I need my modem in bridge mode to have access to my NAS outside of my home. Is there a setting I’m missing on my orbi that is causing this? It’s in Router mode

    what modem is it from your isp? 

    Try this after putting it in bridge mode. 

    power it and the router off. unhook everything from both. even coax from model. 

    Then wait 2 minutes

    power the modem back on and give it a few minutes to fully boot. 

    then connect port 1 from the modem the wan port on router. 

    boot router. 

    wait a couple minutes to fully boot. 

    Try setup.
