Bridging with older WNDR3700 router - need some advice

The functionality you are looking for is called bridge mode by Netgear. I looked at the WNDR3700 manual and, unfortunately, it doesn't look like it supports bridge mode. The R6200, however, does support bridge mode. While it's not ideal, you could keep your WNDR3700 as your main router and use your R6200 in bridge mode to connect your wired computer.
