C3000 as a Range extender?
Could a C3000 be used as a Range Extender by connecting it to a primary wifi router with a long Ethernet cable? Any configuration tricks?

expect so.It's possible to configure almost any router as a wireless access
point. See, for example:https://community.netgear.com/t5/x/x/m-p/1463500
That's written for a C6300-as-WAP, but the steps are about the same for
any other router (any make/model) which lacks a one-step WAP option.
