C6220, WiFi setup

I’m having trouble trying to setup my router so that I’m able to access the internet wirelessly. I have a Ethernet cord but I don’t need wired connection at this moment. I’ve just been going in a loop of websites trying to find out how to get my router to emit internet.

    Is the wireless broacasting? 

    Did the wifi on/off button get pushed (push and hold for 2 seconds)? 

    does it work wired (thats to ensure activated properly)
