Can i connect an R6260 to my Virgin hub via a Cat6e cable to give me wifi down my garage ?
Hello , I have a Virgin super hub 3 in my house and need to have internet access in my Mancave down the bottom of the garden (40 metres away) . The wifi signal from the hub was very flaky down there ...

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for
"Use the Router as a WiFi Access Point Only".Don't let the "WiFi" part of that worry you; its LAN Ethernet ports

It's not wonderful enough to qualify as "overkill" for much, but your
demands don't sound especially great, either. Define "better". If your
old junk was adequate, than almost any new thing (with gigabit/s
Ethernet ports) should be, too. If you try to save the last $2, you
might be able to find something worse than your old junk.

Yes you could do that.
Just setup the R6260 in access point mode. It prevents a double nat
