Can I "FIX" IP address for 1 attached device - RAX10
Hello.
I am a novice at doing admin operations on my router. I have a BrennanB2 audio storage and playback device connected to my wifi. The Brennan's IP address changes; 1-whenever I shut down the Brennan, or 2-on seemingly random occasions. In the Brennan setup guide, the suggestion is to "Fix" an IP address to this one device, leaving all other attached devices unchanged.
Question: Is this possible, or even wise to do on my RAX10 4-Stream AX1800 WiFi 6 Router?
Thanks for any helpful suggestions.

If the Brennan allows it, you can go into its controls and tell it to use a fixed IP address. Then, whenever it starts it will use that IP address.
The other approach is to use a web browser and the graphical user interface to get at the controls for the RAX10 and go to the setting
- Advanced
- Setup
- LAN Setup
- Address Reservation
- Add
Find the Brennan and add that to the Reservation Table.
Details here in the manual:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. That should have the same effect. Your Brennan will always use the same IP address on your network.
