Can i use old rangemax wpn824v2 as a wifi extender/repeater for comcast xfi gateway
Have old Netgear RangemaxWPN824v2 and Comcast Xfinity Gateway. Can I use the Rangemax as a wifi extender/repeater? How do I do this?

Can you? not sure.
Should you? no.
Its a really old wireless g router with minimal security or speed. It was released 17 years ago.
I'm all for recycling/reusing equipment but thats past the point of reuse.
- wcalifasProdigyYou can use it as an access point wherever u have low wireless signal. You have to turn off the dhcp on it and change its IP #. I mean it won't give u top speeds of today's wifi routers but can cover some area with wifi.
