Can the wifi be shut down and just use hardwired?
I have laid hardwire to all locations I use ethernet. Is there a way to turn off the wifi transmission?

When trying to match "a Manual" with "reality", it helps to look at
the right part of reality. Reality is a big place, with many parts.

Yes. That's how I could tell that you were on the wrong page. (And
exactly which wrong page you were on.)

Antinode you are correct in assuming I am not a network expert however I avoid being condescending or profane and I tend to apologize when I am, and I wouldn’t tell the other person that they just can’t handle it. With that being said I want you to know that I am a retired Engineer and I can tell when a Manual doesn’t match reality. The picture in the manual does not correspond to what I am seeing on my screen. In the manual it says:
“Enable Wireless Router Radio. You can completely turn off the wireless portion of the
wireless router by clearing this check box. Select this check box again to enable the wireless
portion of the router. When the wireless radio is disabled, other members of your household
can use the router by connecting their computers to the router with an Ethernet cable.”
However on the Advanced Wireless screen there is no Enable Wireless Router Radio to turn off.
It does offer an option to turn off the Guest Network, which I have done.
I did include a picture of what I am looking at. I can try an update of the software, although I doubt that it will bring back that option.
