I asked him if I could have two wireless connections at the same time, he said yes. I have not shut down my ATT Uverse because it is connected with wireless to my TVs and Rokus. The account is good until 15 Feb. I was going to use the same name and password as my old wireless connection so that I wouldn't have to change everything in the house thats wireless. Is the Time-Warner man correct that I can have two wireless connections in the same house? I am using one computer for the wired network that is connected to TW. It does not make any sense to me. I figured I would have to shut down my ATT Uverse and wireless connection before the Netgear router will make a wireless network. Am I correct?

You cannot run a single seamless wireless network with two different ISPs unless you use a dual-WAN-capable router or load balancer.  With your current equipment you can run two separate wireless networks.  Switching between will not be seamless.
