cannot acces web console admin after reset WNR1000V3
hello I returned my cartons this router that will allow me to add another wifi network to connect my home automation sensors.
I updated the router with the latest version proposed, change the settings of the wifi and its static IP.
But this address was not on a range accessible from my current network (error) => reset configuration.
I found his new IP address on my box (the reset worked well) but when I try to connect to the router I get a delay exceeded. I am connected to ethernet from my network and the router is connect in ethernet to my network on the yellow hole.
a scan of the router's ports does not give an open port (no 80 or 8080 or other), the LEDs are green.
I repeated the reset several times through the small hole and wait 5 to 10 seconds but it remains unreachable :(
I tried the access or router from several different machines (not a firewall pb)
Is he dead or do you have an idea for resurrection ? :'(
thanx
- I answer myself, do not connect remotely via the network in my case but connect the pc directly to one of the ports and the admin console appears signaling a possible conflict of Ip

"add another wifi network" to what?

Why do you want "another wifi network" for that?

An actual version number would be more useful than your opinion of
what's "the latest" today.

Which "its static IP"?

Cascading two routers this way can cause multiple problems. If it
works for you, then that's fine with me, but you might have fewer
problems if you configure the WNR1000v3 as a wireless access point,
rather than as a full-function router. Some newer router models have a
relatively simple one-step option for this, but, as I read the manuals
for your (old) WNR1000v3, it seems not to. For a step-by-step on how to
do this with almost any router, see:
https://community.netgear.com/t5/x/x/m-p/1463500
That's written for a C6300, but the steps are about the same for any
other router (any make/model) which lacks a one-step WAP option,
including yours.- Eric31100Aspirant
Saddened for my English, Google is not very effective :(
My problem was bound to the option allowing to administer remotely the router which was reset with the new version of the firmware.
Thank you for having tried to understand(include) my problem
