Can't access Wi-Fi from devices after firmware upgrade
Just updated my firmware to V1.1.2.54 for my N-150 and now can't access my Wi-Fi from any of my devices. Looked at Netgear Genie and it shows the wireless settings with an "X" indicating not working...

Paid to have techs come on site and they had it back in minutes. That indicator for the Wireless AP being off was the key. I had no idea what it meant but they told me and then went to another settings page and set the wireless broadcast to "on" and we were good. I knew it had to be something easy but did not understand what all these settings meant.
Again, thanks for your replies.

Welcome to the community, polkaroo
What do you mean "Wireless AP is off"?
Can you post a screenshot of that window?
X indication in the Genie app could also mean that the wireless adapter on your laptop is disabled.
Make sure that your wireless adapter is turned on or enabled.

My hardwired devices on the router are working, no problem. The router does not seem to be broadcasting as you can't pick it up on any of my wireless devices.
I can see my neighbours WiFi networks but my network doesn't come up.
Prior to the firmware upgrade, all was good.

Can you try to factory reset the router then reconfigure it afterwards.

Elaine, I wish I was that technically savy. I thought the firmware update would be easy...and it was. Just didn't expect not to come back fully functional. I read how to reset the router but don't know enough about how to set it up again. I had a tech come on-site to set it up for me originally. Cost of a home visit is $75/hr. Looking at that now but was hoping it was something simple that I just didn't know about.
Thanks for your help BTW.
