can't connect to internet
Had a Power outage. Trying to reconnect to internet with my netgear26. It appears to be connected when I go to settings on my phone or other device, but then when I try to do something I get the me...

This usually takes out everything on your network. When they restart, they can get confused.
As this is a router, there is probably a modem sitting in front of it. You need to get the devices to forget any inherited settings. Among other things, that means rebooting the network. For example, I once had a modem that took so long to start that the router sitting behind it timed out and just sat there going nowhere.
It may help to reboot the whole network in the right order:
- Turn off and unplug modem.
- Turn off router and computers.
- Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
- Turn on computers and rest of network.
Try that before you start pulling your hair out. You lose nothing even if it doesn't work.
