Can't Log in on Network Genie Login Page
I cannot logon using the Network Genie logon. It just sits there going round and round. I have used my Samsung Droid 2 with Network Genie and logged on with admin and my own password. I can lo...

Don't know what I did other than turn the computer off last night and rebooted it this morning. Like they say "Even a blind squirell can find a nut" and that is what transpired in this case. Appreciate all the responses to my problem and appreciate you all being here for us novices when problems arise.

When I attempt to use the internet login method "http://www.routerlogin.com/", I get the following reply,
"You are not connected to your Router’s WiFi network. To access routerlogin.com, your device must be connected to your Router’s WiFi network. Check your current connection and try again." Man, I am totally lost and almost regret disconnecting my RangeMax with which I never had a connection problem logging in.

I'm not certain but there may be a bug with using www.routerlogin.com from a wired device. Did you try using the router's IP address?
Also, did you check Windows for the public/private network status?

Did it both with 192.168.0.1 and again with 192.168.1.1 My network status reflects private. Really at a loss here. Everything seems to work but bugs me to not be able to get into my settings.

Don't guess your router's address. Look it up on your computer. Open a Command Prompt and run ipconfig. The address you want is the Default Gateway for Ethernet interface.
Do you have any antivirus programs, like Kaspersky or Symantec? Kaspersky is notorious for blocking logins to the router. Frequently, it's necessary to completely uninstall it, log into the router, then reinstall Kaspersky.

TheEther has given you the usual things to look for, but a remote possibility that comes up every few weeks is that the PC's network hardware is misconfigured. In particular, new PC, or those with updated Windows, can have the wrong drivers for the onboard LAN. So the PC see nothing on the network.
If you can see nothing at all on your LAN, and not just the router interface, investigate that.
This could explain why portable hardware sees the network, but not the PC.
My money is on Kaspersky. It is a Russian plot to bring the world to its knees.
