Can't Log in on Network Genie Login Page

Don't know what I did other than turn the computer off last night and rebooted it this morning. Like they say "Even a blind squirell can find a nut" and that is what transpired in this case. Appreciate all the responses to my problem and appreciate you all being here for us novices when problems arise.

TheEther has given you the usual things to look for, but a remote possibility that comes up every few weeks is that the PC's network hardware is misconfigured. In particular, new PC, or those with updated Windows, can have the wrong drivers for the onboard LAN. So the PC see nothing on the network.
If you can see nothing at all on your LAN, and not just the router interface, investigate that.
This could explain why portable hardware sees the network, but not the PC.
My money is on Kaspersky. It is a Russian plot to bring the world to its knees.

The answer is simple. The fact that you asked a question here means that there is a community of people willing your system to behave itself.
It just proves that telepathy works and can even mend a router login.
