Try disconnecting the router from the primary router.
Then factory reset it. Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on.
then (with it still disconnected from primary router) try to access it-set it up.
What version of the wndr4300 do you have? some have the wds option removed.
You could use it as an access point.
- SwabbieMar 28, 2022TutorIts an N750. It has two buttons on the front one shape of a lock with waves radiation from it and the other a dot with waves radiating off it. I believe that he is a WPS button.
I factory reset the router as suggested. It’s connected to nothing. When I try loging into it as instructed by the back sticker (www.routerlogin.net) it just takes me to the a netgear website.
I have reset history on my browser too.- plemansMar 28, 2022Guru - Experienced User
and you disconnected the wndr4300 from your primary router?
It shouldn't take you to a website if its not online.
you can also try its default address 192.168.1.1
- SwabbieMar 28, 2022Tutorthe router is plugged into the wall for power only. No other connections.
When I try to log into www.routerlogin.net from my phone and/or laptop (while connected to the web either by cellphone and/or my internet WiFi (as per the instructions on the router) I am redirected to https://www.netgear.com/home/services/routerlogincom/
browsing to 192.168.1.1 from my phone or laptop just times out.
