change my username and password on my Netgear WNDR4300
I need to change my username and password on my Netgear WNDR4300 but I can't get into the settings even with the Genie. Any help is appreciated.
I did a scan with a new virus checker and it found a HACK TOOL that it said was medium risk. I removed it and the Netgear Genie now works fine. I was able to change my WIFI name and password with no trouble now.
Thanks for your suggestion of a hard reset, however I didn't need it this time but I will remember it for future reference.

Try to do a hard reset by following the steps below.
1. With the unit powered on, press and hold the reset button on the back of unit for 30seconds.
2. Without releasing the reset button, unplug the unit and hold reset for another 30 seconds.
3. Power on the unit while STILL pushing the reset button and count for another 30 seconds before letting it go.
