Check my speed on new purchase

Hey guys - Can you get in to check my speed.  Purchased yesterday when the phone guy was installing.  Upon set up - it asked me to update to the new version . While in the middle of download of this new version - I got a frowny face that it could not complete .

Then the phone guy had his meter showing 700 by 40 on his service - but - only 100 by 40 on my modem .  Let it set overnight and this morning ran my own internet test that resulted in only 100.

Can you run a fix or my second choice is to return the devise .
