I followed them. I didn't learn what you're trying to do from either
of them.

Because one of us seems to be unwilling/unable to answer a simple
question:
> "the coax"? _Which_ "the coax", from _where_?
> What, exactly, are you trying to do? [...]
Each is still a mystery. If you're waiting for me to make any more
guesses, then you might have a long wait ahead of you.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it. At least until you switch
from "smart" answers and insults to answers which convey some useful
information.
> [...] The adapter says it converts RJ45 to RF.
No, it does _not_ say that. "connectors" and "signals" are spelled
differently for a reason. If you tie an electrical extension cord
to a garden hose, and then plug the extension-cord plug into an
electrical outlet, you do _not_ get water out of the hose.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number
(look for "Model" on the product label), and look for Documentation.
Get the User Manual (at least). Read.
Do you have a modem of some kind? Who/what is your ISP?
> [...] I'm almost postive your not intellegent enough.
That's "you're". And "intelligent".

Must be something wrong with this site because I copied and pasted a link to the!!!
NETGEAR WNDR3400-100NAS Dual Band Wireless and Ethernet Router. Then I copied and pasted a link to the F Female to RJ45 Male Coaxial Coax Barrel Coupler Adapter RJ45 to RF adapter found on eday and various other places. I also posted pictures of both. No one can seem to answer this question? Pretty simple question. Can it be fitted to the end of the coax inside the house which is where routers plug in and plug directly into ethernet on the back of the router. Because all it has is a ethernet connection on the modem/router. So instead of have a modem and a router. Just the router. Ive been around electronics and just dont see what this adapter would be used for? Interested to find out. What plugs an electric signal into an optical reciever?

What is a LAN cable? LAN cables, more widely referred to as Ethernet cables, are comprised of copper wiring and come in a few different categories, the most common of which are Cat 5e and Cat 6. The cables terminate with an RJ45, or registered jack 45, plug.Apr 15, 2020
