Compatibility with Intel Centrino WiMAX 6250
Hello Community. I just purchased this router and my computer doesn't see it. I hard wired it and set everything up, but when I disconnect the cable, nothing. My Vizio smart TV is able to connect to it, but not my laptop. I fear that the WiFi in my laptop might not be compatible with the router. Anyone have an answer? Thanks

1. What is the firmware version of the router?
2. Other than your smart TV, are your other wireless devices (smartphones, tablets, other wireless computers) able to detect the wireless signal?
3. Can your laptop detect other WiFi networks in the area?
4. Have you tried changing the wireless channel (for either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz)?
