Which "the features of the D7800"?

Normally, the D7800 doesn't have one address, it has a LAN address
and a WAN/Internet address.

Cascading multiple routers can cause multiple problems. If you can't
configure the HG659 as a modem (only), then I'd suggest configuring the
D7800 as a wireless access point (ADVANCED > Advanced Setup > Router / AP
Mode). This will disable some router features, but you may not care:

If you don't already have the appropriate user manual, then visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look for "Set Up the Modem Router
as a WiFi Access Point Only".

DHCP and wireless. I want to use the HG659 as a modem (only) and D7800 to do the rest.
But can't get a connection to the D7800 at 198.168.1.2.
Starting from where? Doing what?I have the D7800 connected to a switch as well the main PC. connections I am trying in Firefox are - 192.168.1.2 and http://www.routerlogin.net and both fail
