constant site cannot be displayed msgs

AC1750  on Win 10 - ran most recent firmware update.  Since then I am constantly getting site cannot  be displayed msgs.  It is across Chrome, Firefox, Brave.  I have to reload page 3,4,5 times and f...

what actual router do you have? AC1750 is a speed

What firmware version did you install? 

What modem/gateway is it connected to? 

Have you tried enabling ipv6 and rebooting the router?

 

If you've tried that, then try downgrading the firmware a version. Some product lines have been running into dns issues on the newer firmware.

    Thank you for responding, I really appreciate it. 

     

    modem: arris surfboard 6190
    Netgear R6400v2
    current Firmware: V1.0.4.120_10.0.91
    5gz and 2.4 both set up. Pushing 5gz as default  

     

    Not a strong hardware person, so have not tried ipv6 fix.   Not real sure how I go about it. Looking. 

    Might have to roll back, I  had not upgraded for a bit so though I best do it.

      I see IPv6 and what setting is recommended?  Auto config?

        I usually try auto-config. I haven't had it not get a connection yet on my setup :)
