Not much meat on that bone. _Where_ "in Netgear's Genie"?

You may need only a router, but a D6220 should be able to act as only
a router. If your problem is not configuring your D6220 properly as a
router, then you might have similar problems configuring any other
router as a router, too.
Does your ISP provide any instructions on how to attach/configure a
router to work with their ONT interface? Do you have any reason to
believe that "ISP logon details" are needed with this (non-DSL?)
connection? Have you done a settings reset on the D6220, and let it try
to puzzle out its new environment?

Thanks Michael for your response, the ONT is connected to the Netgear modem/router as you describe, I have installed the latest firmware available, reset the Netgear 6220 (several times). Have used Netgear's "Genie" that indicates the Wifi is working but alas no internet available. Contacted ISP provider and they can't see any issues from their end. The ONT box indicates signal is being received. Have sourced assistance from the retailer I purchased the router as I suspect it is this unit, fortunately it is still under warranty and they are happy to send a technician out to get it sorted.

That's good news. Let's hope they can fix it.
Remember, you may need the login details for your ISP, so that you can feed them into the router. Only your ISP can tell you how to go about this.
If the D6220 is a recent purchase, any chance that you can take it back? It is a modem/router. A router only box might be a better option. A DSL modem is not much use with a fibre link.

Yip have ISP logon details, they are displayed in Netgear's Genie. Will look at the possibility of replacing the existing unit with a router only, as suggested. Thanx again Hbbs
