Can i uses this router with comcast voice services?

Can you use a DSL modem with a cable-TV-type ISP? I'd guess not.
You might be able to do something with the router section of a
DGND3700v2, but if you need a cable modem, then you need more than a DSL
modem+router.
I have a cable model so everything works but the phone. I was trying to find out if I could use there ADSL filter to correct the issue
