Disconnecting constantly with packet loss during games
Hi everyone,
I've been having a really irritating issue whenever i try to watch streams or play games while connected via WiFi to my Orbi(RBR50) with satellite. It will randomly disconnect us from the internet for a few seconds, causing us to dc from a game or a stream to crash. In most cases I will have my ping spike and packet loss of around 80 before disconnecting, forcing me to switch to my actual router (Which is the new Virgin Media router) to actually use the internet for a little while before switching back to the orbi. Has anyone else had this issue and are there any ways for me to find out what exactly is going on? Its becoming impossible to do anything consistently without some issues, and it's hard to fault the modem all the time when I have to swap between the routers when they diconnect me.
Thanks in advance!

switching to the new router seems to indicate your virin media is in router mode along with the orbi. This puts you in a double nat.
What is Double NAT? | Answer | NETGEAR Support
options? (only use 1)
1.put the virgin media in passthrough/modem only mode
2. put the netgears IP address in the virgin media's DMZ
3. Put the netgear in access point mode. This leaves the virgin media controlling the routing functions.
- ReithApprenticeGo into NTP settings. Change the DST from Netgear to Manual server. Type time.nist.gov and will resolve your wifi issue. It is because of the time change recently.
