Do I need to update my Netgear for better security? Netgear94 Model R6400

Which version of the R6400 do you have? There was an update with netgear armor for some versions.
- It only says AC1750 above the model number
Are you having issues or just curious?
If its version 1, I don't see the update to netgear armor. But even if it does get it, Armor is a subscription service
- No issues with the router but some spam mail has been released from my google, I am guessing. I. Changed passwords. My brother still getting weird emails from me
