Does the AC1200 range extender work with C6300
Having trouble with new purchase of AC1200 extender. The Nighthawk app says my router C6300 is not supported by the app.
Using the app, I have followed setup directions twice. Extender seems to link to C6300 and provided signal to needed area. But, no login can been made in the extender areas.
Nighthawk app shows the extender is connected to the C6300 and then the internet.
Does the AC1200 work with the C6300? Is the Nighthawk app the only way to set up the extender with my router?

you don't need to use the app to setup the EX6150.
You can use a browser to do so.
during setup, connect a pc/laptop to the extender and then go to mywifiext . net
use that for setup.
