Does Triband really make a difference
Like title says. Does a tri-band or even quad band router make a big difference. Especially if you have a 500 gig or less speed. The dual bands are much cheaper. I have a dual band eero and speeds are atrocious. I have played with a Tri band TP Link and the speeds seem to be pretty close even on WiFi speeds to get close to 400.

You are talking about wifi speeds here?
It might be worth a bit of background reading.

Beware tri-band marketing hype
Are you talking triband routers like the RAX200 (or R8000) or a mesh system like the orbi's?
With the mesh systems, if you don't have a wired backhaul between router/satellites, the dedicated 3rd band makes a big difference. But if you have a wired backhaul, then not as much.
