[DoS attack] ICMP Flood and internet outages
I am getting random outages for about 4-5 times a day. ISP says it likely the router. I have seen in the log [DoS attack] ICMP Flood from fe80 and some other IP address 52.81.198.255 happening more than once an hour. I am wondering if this could be where the problem is and how to start trouble shooting if it is.

Hi ceanderse,
Good day!
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
First of all, we do apologize for the inconvenience of not getting back to you immediately due to the backlog in the system. Do you still have the issue? Does it happen to all your devices( wired and wireless) connected to the router? Did you test your modem's internet connection by plugging into the modem?
Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need further assistance.
Regards,
Oliver
