What modem/gatway are you using?
Did you try other servers? speedtest doesn't always choose the best server.
did you try factory resetting and reinstalling the router? Make sure to test it in default configuration. its a bit of an older router so make sure during the install to leave qos, access controls, parental controls, and traffic monitoring all disabled.

Hi,
I’m using ZTE F680, which also does something similar with WIFI connection speed (~120down/~400up)
It is driving me crazy, I don’t touch anything in the Netgear, only changed IP and disabled DHCP from default (not even the default pass lol )

So the device the netgear is connected to (and getting its signal from) has the same issue?
That'd seem to imply the ZTE was the bottleneck and creating the issue since the netgear has to connect through the zte.
- victorsoyvictorJun 07, 2021AspirantIt is wired to ZTE, cat 5e. I have 600/600 with cable.

If you're testing the speeds on the zte and its only getting 120mbps down, why do you expect the netgear to get faster speeds?
Understood that you have cat 5e and 600/600 service. But if you're gateway isn't putting out 600mbps service, then the netgear isn't going to get it.
What speeds do you get from the zte hardwired into it?
