EAX15 requests to www.netgear.com

Hello,

I noticed EAX15  keeps sending requests to www.netgear.com, about 24000 requests per day (about every 4seconds).

Why all these requests ?

How to disable them ?

Would it be possible to have a "silent mode" to avoid these unecessary requests ?
