EAX20 (AX1800 Wifi 6 mesh extender)
Not at all technoligcally advanced - so bear with me. Extender boots up just fine - and the wifi on my mobile phone is great throughout the house. But, on my iphone 12 pro, can not locate NETGEAR_EXT in wifi settings - it just does not come up. When extender on & working - SX series Uled Dual Cell TV loses all wifi internet interaction - will only connect to internet when extender is turned off. Dowloaded Nighthawk onto iphone 12 pro no problems - but when extender turned on, Nighthawk can not locate TV. Also discovered this morning, when extender is turned on - can not operate my HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 printer/scanner ....

Can other devices see the SSID from the EAX20?
What is the router in front of the EAX20? And the modem (if there is one) in front of that?

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
