I would wait until black Friday sales or cyber-Monday or even end of year after Christmas, then you can get what you want hopefully on sale. Just because something is EOL, doesn't mean you have to upgrade right away, especially if you are not having issues.

IF it was me, I'd check the used market. A last gen RAX device like the RAX70/80 can be picked up much cheaper and will be a massive upgrade over the R6220

Hi, and thank you for the recommendation! The only outlet I know of is Amazon. Maybe newegg? I'm definitely willing to go with a refurbished device.
Thanks again!

I personally am leery at buying a used/renewed electronic device as you never know what you are going to get. You may get something that had no issues and was returned, or you may get the opposite, but to each his own.

I've bought quite a few renewed/refurb devices. The nice thing about going with amazon is usually there's an option to buy a warranty, and if there's issues, you can always return it in their return window. Its not like a car where someone was abusing it. Usually routers work or they don't. there doesn't tend to be much in between. So if you get one that works, awesome.
