EX3700 all of a sudden won't work with 2G Ext.

Ive had my extender for a couple of years.  It's worked antiquity All of a sudden it no longer works with 2G Ext.  My 2G works, Ive checked it directly bypassing the extender.  Ive tried resetting it and forgetting the network and reinstalling it several times.   Still comes back with not working.   Any tips?  Is this extender no longer good.  The 5G Ext side works fine.  However, the items I'm using it for have to run on the 2G Ext side.
