Ex6120 weak security
Started receiving weak security alerts for my existing _EXT networks on my iPhone. Now cannot get wps button to light, even when in the same room as my router. Help!

No WPA3 yet (unless you have a newer router that's out of scope anway) on these extenders. Unfortunately it appears various extenders can only be configured for both WPA/TKIP _and_ WPA2/AES. Unclear to me why these oversensitive mobiles (Apple comes into my mind) not simply use WPA2/AES instead of the obsolete WPA/TKIP.
Update: The older WNxxxx had a control to select the wireless security settings in place. The EX6120 don't have a control, the manual says on p.25: "WPS supports WPA and WPA2 WiFi security. If your extender network is open (no WiFi security is set), connecting with WPS automatically sets WPA + WPA2 WiFi security on the extender network and generates a random passphrase. You can view this passphrase on the WiFi Settings page (for more information, see View WiFi Settings on page 21)."
No idea why the WPS light does not come on your extender however.

WPA2 (AES) should be good enough, but I'm not sure how to change. WPS LED light remains off on extender. Do I need to revert to factory settings?
