Extending as an AP

Hi,

 

I can setup my Extender as a WiFi Range Extented but I cant set it up as an Access Point. 

 

Is this a limitaion to the model I have ?

 

When I connect a nic from my modem to my adapter it shuts down my network, I can t connect of do anything until I disconnect the nic. 

 

Anyone else having this issue ?

    Factory reset the extender. Then try connecting it to your router and running the setup on it again using the access point mode instead of extender mode. 

    To factory reset, put and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while its powered on
