I found this information below on the internet.

Ok
So I unplugged the two satellites so only the router is present.
Turned down 5g to 25%
Connected phone to 2.4g and verified it on or I app that phone was 2.4g
Attempted thermostat failed and PW is cut and pasted so no errors.
Going to call Honeywell tomorrow and see what they have to say. This is seriously BS going to return the piece of junk if they have no good resolutions.
Hope to see a proper netgear response

I do recall reading a forum post about another user trouble shooting the issue.
And he said the thermostat would join his cell hotspot.
I tried this and it worked first try
So 100% it’s a netgear orbi issue can’t recall if any of the other posts had resolved conclusions??
Would really appreciate a netgear solution for this. As it’s clearly a netgear issue.

I have a honeywell t5 that joined my RBK750 without issue.
- Camshaft700Oct 25, 2021GuideThanks I wish I could say the same.
Unfortunately I’m not the only person that has had this issue.
Mine is rrbk50
And RTH6580WF1006/W- Camshaft700Oct 25, 2021GuideNot sure if I can use a old router and turn it into a access point ?
Connect that to orbi and run the thermostat off the AP ?
Seems petty sad but since the thermostat connects to my phone. It’s clearly a orbi issue
