Firmware for my Netgear is Saved, but I'm not able to Run it, now what?
I suddenly lost wi-fi. I can connect to my Netgear24, but I do not get Internet. My Modem has been checked out by my ISP and it's fine, but they do not see my Router in their sytem. Obviously bot...
Hi plemens. Thank you for the reply. I wish I could connect the ethernet cable directly to my laptop, but it is an ASUS Touchscreen Flip Notebook that does not have a port for that cable.
I know the modem is connected to the router. If the cable is disconnected fom either device, the 2nd light in from the left on the router turns off. The modem is an ARRis SurfBoard by the way.
To be honest, I think the recent Windows 10 Update has srewed things up And yes, I have restarted my laptop after the update like I usually do anymore with those damn things.

Do you have any hardwired devices you can connect to it to check? If not, it might be worth buying a cheap usb---ethernet adapter.
