FIrmware refuses to do Updates

Hello

I have a r6400. The underside does not mention V2 but when I connect at Netgear using the serial number it says my unit is a V2??

I am unable to update any firmware or backdate to more stable version(v1 or v2). I factory reset the router and since then it refuses all updates via the Admin page on the router. I have tried TFTP updates but they will not work either. The reset functions with the orange light do not perform as per the TFTP guides

Is there any other way of uploading firmware to this router? Anything I try is refused with the "This firmware file is incorrect! Please get the firmware file again and make sure it is the correct firmware for this product" text

Any help is much appreciated!

       Sounds like a plain-old R6400[v1].  What's the current firmware
    version?

"unable" is not a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
    descriptions or interpretations.

With my weak psychic powers, I can't see any of that "Anything".
What, exactly, did you do with which file, exactly?
