Firmware update on DGND3700v2 failed

Tried to update v1.1.00.24_1.00.24 via wifi connected PC. Connection lost midway and now power LED is stuck on constant red light. Attempts to restore factory settings by depressing red button behind also failed. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
  • [RESOLVED] Set up Ethernet conn with PC. Accessed 192.168.0.1 on browser and was given option to update firmware via a plain text page. Connected to phone's hotspot and downloaded firmware from http://www.netgear.com/product/dgnd3700v2. Disconnected. Extracted and selected img file from zip. Uploaded to router. Web GUI appeared with all old settings preserved. Reconnected phone line, tested and applied Internet settings. Done. Hope this helps.

     Power LED Stays Red

When the wireless modem router is turned on, the Power LED turns red for about 20 seconds and then turns green. If the LED does not turn green, the wireless modem router has a problem.

If the Power LED is still red one minute after you turn on power to the wireless modem router:

    1. Turn the power off and back on to see if the wireless modem router recovers.

    2. Press and hold the Restore Factory Settings button to return the wireless modem router to its factory settings. See Factory Settings on page 142.

If the error persists, you might have a hardware problem and should contact technical support at www.netgear.com/support.
