firmware update on R6080 sticks
WhenI log into my router it tells me there is a firmware update.
AC1000 wifi router model R6080
Computer is running win 7, attached via ethernet
I have V1.0.0.34 , it t offers V1.0.0.38.
I click on the button to get the update. It begins the download, and about halfway thru it just stalls. I clicked cancel and then tried again, it did the same thing. I cancelled again and then rebooted my computer,modem and router and tried again. It did the same thing.
Do no know what to do. I hesitate to just keep trying becuase I am up against a data limit with my ISP.
Can anyone help?.
Manually download the currrent fromware from https://www.netgear.com/support/product/R6080.aspx#download ... unpack theZIP archive to get the image (current: R6080-V1.0.0.38.img) ... and upload this using the Web browser accessing the router ... Advanced -> Administration -> Firmware Update
