My Netgear R6260 AC1600 is prompting for a firmware update. Currently it is using V1.1.0.66_1.0.1 Acording to the Netgear downloads page V1.1.0.64 is still the latest version. I asked about this and...

Hi There,

I've postponed this update pending further advice from Netgear. I cannot risk disabling my router because I need Internet access for my work. This is now a critical requirement due to a change in working practice caused by our second national lockdown (UK). In-order to proceed with the update, I would need to purchase another router to have as a contingency.

Your advice on this matter would be much appreciated.
