Firmware updates

i was alerted by email to update my firmware on the router. my router doesn't find any updates (current version 2.5.2.4. ). on the netgear website, one finds V2.7.1.60.

then i log in to orbi website but it also does not see any new updates (also displays V2.5.2.4).

if there is an update available, why isn't orbi app on my phone detecting it? second, when i log in to orbi, it does not see the latest version avaialble as well.

i was previously forced to committ to 6 months of support for $90 b/c of this glitch and i have been trying to stay on top of this but this is confusing.
