Firmware upgrade on WNR2000v5 from 1.0.0.34 to 1.0.0.70 failed
When trying to upgrade the firmware of the WiFi Router Netgear WNR2000v5 from 1.0.0.34 to 1.0.0.70 either by the web application (via routerlogin.net) or by the local Genie app I encounter an erro...

Unfortunately not even the smallest jump (from 1.0.0.34 to 1.0.0.42) is possible. When attempting the error message is exactly the same as for the current firmware version (see attachment).

Thank you very much for the advice. It indeed worked out to use the TFTP-client to transfer the latest firmware version to the router as described in this article: https://kb.netgear.com/000059634/How-to-upload-firmware-to-a-NETGEAR-router-using-Windows-TFTP
