I have a Netgear 6220 router. I have Netgear Genie on my desktop and I have Nighthawk on my phone. I've done firmware updates before, but I can't get the latest update for this router to work. Using ...
The Genie app is no longer being developed on so it's usefulness is being phased out. So Genie may or may not work well.
For doing any FW updates, the use of a wired PC and web browser is recommended and preferred.
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
