forgotten password
I have forgotten my password so how do I go about getting it back? I have a netgear model c3700 with windows 10 OS

And a Web search for, say:
netgear lost password
found nothing useful?
The usual remedy is a settings reset. Visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look for "Factory Default
Settings". Prepare to reconfigure the modem+router manually.
(Restoring corrupt saved settings may defeat the reset.)
