FS728TP not giving 100+mbps speeds

Hi All. Can someone help me please. I upgraded to fibre but my Wireless access points which are plugged into the net gear switch aren’t giving the speed I am getting from the main router which is more than 100mbps. The WAP only give less than 100. Does anyone know what the 4 ports are for ok the right far end, can I plug something in where the covers are to get a gigabyte connection. Or is the switch just not up to the job. As you can tell I am not knowledge in this
Kind regards

       Someone who has looked at the product documentation might know.  Have
    you tried using them?

       Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
    for Documentation.  Get some.  Read?  Look at the pictures?

       "m" = "milli" = 1/1000.  "M" = "mega" = 1000000.

       If the product description itself says "10/100", then I wouldn't
    expect "1000".  "Fast Ethernet" has been a misnomer for more than twenty
    years.

       Why are you using the antique switch?  Have you considered getting a
    gigabit/s-capable switch?
