Google home nest mini (2nd generation) disconnecting from wifi
Hello All,
I have been having multiple issues with my google home nest mini (2nd generation) disconnecting from the wifi. My router is AC1750 C6300.
I have factory reset, delete the home + device, unplug / re-plug router + device simulatenously. These temporairly work until the device automatically disconnects from the wifi. Here is what google suggested to do:
- Enable: Universal Plug and Play (UPnP), multicast, Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP)
- Disable: AP / client isolation, virtual private networks (VPNs), proxy servers, IGMP Proxy. VPNs and proxy servers should be disabled on your computer as well (if applicable).
I was able to confirm that the UPnP. was enabled, but I could not find any of these other settings / features on the admin page.
Can you please point me in the right direction for enabling / disabling the settings above ? Feel free to offer any other suggestions.

I have the same issue, there seems to be a massive google problem with nest firmware causing them to drop off wifi.
I have a nest mini 2nd gen and have a ticket open with google for the issue.

I would love an answer to your original question also. I am not able to find "AP Isolation" settings anywhere in the wifi settings even when accessing from a web browser which gives more options than from the ORBI app.
I pushed google tech sup for more specifics and they couldn't tell me anything more. Based on all the alerts on their pages about high support volume, I'm assuming the problem is on their end and I'm not wasting any more of my time troubleshooting it for now.
